Kansas City Kansas Archbishop Joseph Naumann addressed the annual National Right to Life ecumenical
Prayer Breakfast. Using the iconoclastic tale of the Wizard of Oz, Archbishop Naumann discussed the
importance of prayer for the pro-life movement and how, as a movement, we should guide our prayers.
All week, Dr. Franz shares excerpts of the Archbishop's address.

5971 – Amnesty International Officially Supports Abortion
In a move sure to anger their pro-life supporters and sympathizers, over the summer, Amnesty
International's executive committee quietly approved a shift in policy calling for the decriminalization of
abortion throughout the world.

5972 – Dr. Rachamim Melamed-Cohen
Dr. Franz shares the story of a one-minute by Dr. Rachamim Melamed-Cohen, former National Education
Supervisor for the Israeli Department of Education. Dr. Franz shares Mr. Pickup’s observations on the
video of Dr. Melamed-Cohen and other writings in which he expresses his opposition to euthanasia and
the extols the value of each human life -- regardless of disability or some archaic "quality of life" ethic.
