To honor Terri Schindler Schiavo, and raise awareness of other disabled patients like her, Terri's family,
through the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, designated March 31 as "Terri's Day." Dr. Franz discusses
ways pro-lifers can honor Terri's legacy and protect their loved ones from the same fate.

Dr. Franz reflects on an article written by columnist Nat Hentoff shortly after the death of Terri Schiavo'
which originally appeared in Human Life Review. In the article, Mr. Hentoff examines the impact the
"quality of life" ethic is having on medical treatment for those with disabilities.

Last week marked the 3rd anniversary of the death by starvation and dehydration of Terri Schiavo. As
part of marking that tragic day, Dr. Franz once again shares excerpts from a workshop at our annual
NRLC convention featuring Terri's siblings speaking about out their efforts to carry on Terri's memory by
saving other medically dependent and disabled persons, like Terri, from death by starvation and
dehydration.
