Aside:
In 1972, Dr. Mildred Fay Jefferson (who served as NRLC President from 1975-1978) appeared on the public television program, “The Advocates.”  Then-Governor Reagan of California saw the episode discussing the issue of abortion which featured Dr. Jefferson.  He wrote to Dr. Jefferson shortly after her appearance and credited her with changing his thinking on the entire abortion issue.  You can watch more about Dr. Jefferson’s remarkable life and her impact on the future president on our YouTube channel.
